Call of RPC is a 4 person multiplayer arena shooter, created in the Unity Engine with the online services from Photon 2. This project was my first multiplayer game and was a unique challenge.

DESCRIPTION

What is this game about? The game "Call of RPC" is a 3D first person multiplayer arena shooter, in which the players in which the players must first prepare for the fight in a set period of time and then and in the following fight within an arena have to eliminate each other. The resources collected in the preparation phase can be invested in buildings, barricades and other and other facilities to protect themselves from the other players. Where does the game take place? In Call of RPC, the players coming from the futuristic present find themselves in an Japanese simulation - more precisely, they are inside a castle from Edo-period Japan. Edo-period Japan. What can the player control/influence? At the beginning, the player can either create a server or join an existing server. When all players are ready, the MasterClient can bring all players into the character selection. All players can choose one of the four sides and select one each choose one of the three primary weapons. (Assault Rifle, Shotgun & Sniper). Then the MasterClient will start the game. All players will be spawned on their personal starting point and have 30 seconds to collect resources. After this time the combat phase starts, whereby all players have to eliminate each other with their rifle. Thereby they can build barricades in front of them using the resources they have collected. The player from also able to able to throw grenades and perform a melee attack. The round is over when only one of the players is still alive.
